Beale’s NLP Podcast: Change Management
Are you involved in company change? Then listen to my three latest podcasts on change management. They show three different approaches to managing change in companies. John Whitworth from BT, Nick Bush from Openchord and Phil Jones from Excitent explain their approach to managing change projects.
We discuss
What is a change project?
Why they sometimes fail?
What is the role of a change agent?
And if you would like some new ideas on networking, you listen or read to podcasts from Andy Lopata and Lesley Morrissey. (Please allow 1 minute for connection to the MP3 file.)
Next month I’m changing the tempo and will be talking to two top hypnotists, Stephen Gilligan and John La Valle – it’ll be worth waiting for!
Recommended new CD – Meditation, Magick and Change ™
Are you interested in personal change? Are you interested in some of Richard Bandler’s most recent and best work? Then I highly recommend his 2 CD set Meditation, Magick and ChangeTM. This a recording of Richard and John La Valle at a very special seminar in Orlando.
January and February Practitioner Courses
Attending a practitioner course will help you build on your thinking, communication and change skills – and enable you to be more effective at what you do now, as well as giving you additional resources if you choose to move to something new.
Dates:
- Practitioner Foundation 21-22nd January
- Practitioner Basics 23-25th January
- Practitioner Accreditation 13-15th February
And if you’re interested in becoming a master practitioner, we’ve also dates for our presentation, change management, hypnotic influence and coaching master class modules.
Give me a call on 01908 506 563 if you would like to discuss anything about the courses.

Reviewed: Seduction Book
Richard La Ruina sent me a copy of his book, ‘The Natural Art of Seduction’ to review. While I gently yawned at his claim to be the ‘best seducer in Europe’, the book is actually rather good and is recommended for anyone interested in the topic. It follows a similar format to the Game, but builds on both ‘the Game’ and the ‘Mystery Method.’
Most of the book is set in the United Kingdom. There are a lot of raw skills in the book related to both selling, networking and communication which are not included in the traditional books on these topics. You can also look a full list seduction books here. I’ve also a recoded a podcast with Richard for a future newsletter.
It’s worth pointing out that this is about men being naturally appealing to women. I’d be interested in anyone volunteering to contribute to an article on how women attract men!
NLP definition of the Month: Deep Structure
The sensory maps (both conscious and unconscious) that people use to organise and guide their behaviour.
Between deep structure and surface structure (eg, speech), we distort, delete and generalise. In NLP we use questions from the meta-model to check on distortions and generalisations and recover some of the lost information from deletions.
One of the key skills in NLP is being able to ask ‘clean questions’ which enable whoever we’re working with to correct their own distortions, deletions and generalisations.
See our other NLP definitions from our full A-Z of NLP terms.
Forum progress
I’m hoping to have a very prototype version of our forum ready for next month.
While our focus will always be on offering the best NLP training for business and professional people, the forum will give you the opportunity to ask questions. Also, for those that want to publish articles and raise their profile, the forum will give you additional ways to achieve this.
And finally…
Remember as you move into the New Year, there is a time to set exciting outcomes and a time to let go and enjoy the journey. Choose the balance that works for you.
