Beale’s NLP Podcast: Hypnosis and Sales
Following the discussion with Stephen Gilligan about hypnosis earlier in the year, I’m delighted to release a new podcast and transcript of an interview with Garner Thomson about hypnosis. Garner is founder of the ‘Society of Medical NLP’ and has edited Richard Bandler’s highly recommended new book TRANCE-formation.
Garner shares some of his and Richard’s insights into hypnosis.

I’m also pleased to include a podcast and transcript by Rory Woolridge on sales and selling. Rory tells of his experience where he started a client presentation with the courageous words, “Gentlemen, is there any reason we can’t sign this agreement right now?”

Gabe Guerrero in London
This week, I’ve been attending one of Chris Morris’ events in London: a nine-day ‘Advanced Therapeutic Specialist’ seminar. The seminar is being run by Gabe Guerrero and he teaches the Advanced Therapeutic Model; it’s based on the way Richard Bandler does his personal enhancement seminars, and Richard endorses the model.
I’ll bring you details in next month’s newsletter.

NLP Definitions of the month: Olfactory & Gustatory
Olfactory means ‘pertaining to smell’ and gustatory means ‘pertaining to taste’. While we tend to concentrate on the visual, auditory and kinaesthetic aspects of any experience, it’s worth bringing in both the olfactory and gustatory senses which, when they are present, can be very powerful. Adding one or two olfactory and or gustatory words can even add an enticing dimension to a business presentation.
