Beale’s Podcasts
This month I talk about the benefits of NLP with NLP trainer Fiona Campbell, who used to work for Yell in the UK, and Xerox in the Middle East.

She talks about how she is finding that NLP is genuinely becoming accepted in business and how NLP has benefited both herself and her clients.

You can listen to and read a transcript on: Fiona Campbell on the benefits of NLP

NLP Benefits and Foundation
Do you want reminding as to the benefits of NLP? I’ve posted a short summary on the benefits of NLP here. Please feel to agree or disagree if you’re a forum member. If you’re not yet a member, do sign up!

We’re now taking bookings for our NLP Foundation on 7-8th September. Places fill quickly, so do book early!

We’re also maintaining, for a limited time, our special price of £1200 + VAT for anyone who books for a complete practitioner accreditation course using their credit card. This means you will make a saving of over £500 on individual module prices.

Sir Ken Robison’s ‘The Element’
Sir Ken’s book suggests that, to be in our ‘element’, we need to connect to our passion, our medium (for example, sport, art, and writing) and our tribe (that is, people who will inspire and challenge us to do better). You can listen and watch him on the link: Sir Ken Robinson: Hammer Lectures.

From an NLP point of view, his book ‘The Element’ is good because it’s packed full of stories of people like Paul McCartney and George Harrison, who were told at school that they didn’t have any musical ability, and only discovered their element later.

It’s a really good resource of stories to read and pass on.

On the subject of tribes, Seth Godin on ‘The Tribes That We Lead’ was the most popular link last week, so I’ve included it again in case you missed it.

Have a look and tell me what you think.

Most Popular Richard Bandler NLP DVD set
We’re now able to offer a UK version of ‘Class of a Master’ – it’s a limited time offer of £105 for the four DVD set. Get it now, while you can, as the international version is £225. It’s a superb set and great value, even at the international price…

NLP Video: Rapport
When do you want to be in rapport? When don’t you? To get the answers, watch and listen to a short video between Liam and me on rapport. Just click on this link: NLP and Rapport Video.

NLP Definitions of the Month: Synaesthesia
Synaesthesia is the process of overlap between representational systems. Any two sensory modalities may be linked together, so examples include:

  • See-feel circuits – this is where a person derives feelings from what they see
  • Hear-feel circuits – here, a person gets feelings from what they hear
  • See-hear circuits – so a person sees colours when they hear music

Ross Jeffries in London
Some of seduction master Ross Jeffries’ products work for selling and networking as well as for seduction! While a bit mischievous, he’s produced a series of free videos that you can learn from.

Click this link to see and listen to them: Ross Jeffries Videos.

...and he’s running a seduction workshop in London on 21-23rd August 2009. Click here to find out more: Ross Jeffries in London.

And Finally...
Thank you for reading this newsletter. Find yourself finding new ways of doing what’s important. Next month I talk to one of our delegates who is going to climb Everest next year – a non trivial challenge.
